Femi Babafemi Branch is a Nigerian poet, playwright, film actor, director and
producer.
He was born on May 14, 1970 to the family of Mr. & Mrs.
Osunkoya who were both Teachers in Sagamu, a city in Ogun State
southwestern Nigerian
but hails from Odosenbora town in Ijebu North
East, a local government area of Ogun State. He attended Satellite
Town Primary School at Amuwo Odofin, a local government area in the
Ojo Division of Lagos State before he attended the Airforce
Secondary School at Ikeja,
the capital of Lagos State. He later proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University where, though
admitted for Religious Studies, he later obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Dramatic Arts.
He began his career at Obafemi Awolowo University in 1991, the
same year he featured in a yoruba stage play titled Eniyan. He later
featured in a movie titled Orisun (meaning: Origin) produced by members
of staff of Obafemi Awolowo University but his first appearance on television
was in 2003 in an MTN Group television commercial titled
"Dance with me".
Femi was famous for the role of "Oscar" he
played in a Nigerian soap opera titled Domino. He has since starred in
over a hundred Nigerian films, a few of which he produced and directed. Some of
his movie credits include: The Triangle, Senseless, Orirun, Away from home,
Twisted, The Italian Job, Akandun, Iwalewa, Omotara Johnson 3, Teni Benson,
Akuko Ija, Arungun Omo, Abela Pupa, Oju Odeda, Obirin Ale, Omonikara, Ofin
Mose, Maku, Eni Ija Oba, Elebute, A place in the stars, Fallen Angel, One good
man, Out of luck amongst others. His Television credits include: Domino, Behind
the siege, Blaze of glory, Emerald, This Life, Needles eye, Wives and
Concubines, So wrong so Wright and currently Desperate housewives Africa.

Faithia Balogun
(born February 5, 1969) is a Nigerian actress,
film-maker, producer and director.
She was born in Ikeja
in February 1969. Her ancestry is from Okpara, Delta State. She attended Maryland Primary
School and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos state, where she
obtained the West African School Certificate before she proceeded to Kwara
State Polytechnic where she received a diploma certificate.
She has starred, produced and directed several
Nigerian films over the years. In 2008, she won the Africa
movie Academy Award for the Most Outstanding Actress Indigenous and
her movie Iranse Aje won the best indigenous film of the year. In April
2014, she won the Africa Movie
Academy Award, having emerged as best actress of the year along with
Odunlade Adekola
who emerged as best actor of the year. Faithia Balogun also won the Best
Indigenous Language: Yoruba award for the work done in the film Iya Alalake at
the 2015 Africa-Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards AMVCA.
She was formerly married to the veteran nollywood
actor, Saheed Balogun

won the award for Fast Rising Actress at the 2011 City People Entertainment Awards.
Beverly Ifunaya Bassey was born in London
as the only child to her Nigerian parents. At 17, she began acting while
studying philosophy, psychology and sociology at Brunel
University. She also studied script-writing and film-making at Roehampton University.

Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde (popularly known as Funke Akindele, is a Nigerian
actress.
She entered the limelight after starring in the popular United Nations Population Fund
(UNFPA)-sponsored sitcom I Need to Know, which ran from 1998 to
2002. In 2009, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best
Actress in a Leading Role.Funke Akindele plays the lead character in the ongoing hit TV show Jenifa's Diary, alongside Fisayo Ajisola, Falz, Juliana Olayode, Aderounmu Adejumoke, Lolo and more. The show is a spin-off from the movie titled Jenifa.
